George graduated from Centennial Highschool in Fall 2015. From then, he has been going part time at Parkland College. During this time, he has participated in Parkland Science Club, Parkland Pride Club and Club Latino and participated in CSURP in 2018. George joined the BAM lab in summer 2019 as part of the NSF REU program.


George works on the fabrication using additive manufacturing and design of an asymmetric hinge for the lab’s ornithopter. He is designing interfaces to improve adhesion between thermoplastics PLA and TPU95A (rubber like, flexible material). He is also involved in post-processing videos of click beetles using ProAnalyst.
